South Africa’s leading youth radio station for polished go-getters, YFM, presents the 2018 LYFE made brighter by MTN event..
The event takes place on June 16 at The Old Park Station, bringing to life one of the nation’s most celebrated holidays, Youth Day. YFM in collaboration with MTN aims to showcase music, fashion and arts from locally celebrated, pioneering creatives.
For more than 20 Years, YFM has been at the forefront of youth culture, providing a platform that has always been synonymous with trend-setting in urban youth culture. The station has also been responsible for developing and nurturing talent, with a few industry favourites who have now risen as entertainment icons. The event will also be a platform to unveil the station’s new brand identity and its revived programming focus entitled Be You.
To amplify this lifestyle event, YFM has collaborated with Manthe Ribane, a visual artist who will design the event aesthetics in line with the new brand identity. Renowned stage design expert, Melissa Weigl, will be in charge of the light installation which will be the focal point of the main stage.
The powerful line-up will include South Africa’s A-list musos such as Shane Eagle, Ricky Rick, Sho Majodzi and many more.
