This Heritage Day, you and friends or family can celebrate in true South African style with an authentic braai on the Lawns of The Maslow Hotel in Sandton on Friday, 24 September 2021.

The braai will include a complimentary beer and great live entertainment. You could braai at home, but why be stressed with the admin of making dishes to suit everyone and grilling to everyone’s tastes when you could just spend the day on the Lawns while the braai takes place for you. You can look forward to indulging in a variety of salads such as roast potato, mustard and truffle oil; prawn, fennel and tomato pesto and penne or Honey and sesame roasted butternut, tossed with gorgonzola and cracked pumpkin seeds.

Hot off the braai grid is Tandoori chicken sosaties brushed with yogurt; Lamb shoulder, pita, hummus and all the trimmings; pap tart, mature cheddar & sweet corn; homemade chakalaka with red beans and grilled peppers and Roasted mealies on the cob.

For something sweet, seasonal fruit skewers with honey and hazelnuts, peach schnapps; homemade trifle with vanilla sponge, wild berry jelly and crème anglaise; chocolate tart with peppermint crisp and koeksisters is on the menu for you to enjoy.
