Join us for a SNEAK PREVIEW of the HUT Design Challenge Exhibition – Dec 11th

Launched at CTFW in 2024 the Challenge made a whirlwind turn at MILAN DESIGN WEEK and is now ready to roost in Cape Town. While the exhibition will be featured at CTFW 2025 we’re inviting you for a SNEAK PREVIEW.

The restoration of the iconic, colorful Muizenberg beach huts in partnership with the City of Cape town and Friends of the Muizenberg Huts, was completed in late 2023 to the joy of locals and holiday goers alike.

HUT invited designers to re-imagine the heritage timber into limited edition collectable furniture pieces that could live and serve multiple functions in the confines of a small hut space or compact living environment.

Selected designers include Inland Collective and Stripped Collective, Studio Kalki, Tandem Design House, Sky Designs, A.C.A Atelier, Cara Grace Turner and Priyanka Verma.
