You can expect to see more of this in Duca del Cosma’s SS19 collection; The Pachino, for instance, stylishly combines the striking brand logo with bold & contrasting neutral colours. The 90s inspired chunky ultra-light white outsole boasts an iconic look and feel.

Textured designs

Another 90s fashion trend that is increasing amongst women, and slowly making headway in the men’s department, are textured silhouettes. The Palermo is made from velvet suede combined with full grain leather uppers and Lyra perforations.

The store

Duca committed to creating a first-class shopping experience with a slick pop up lay out on the upper floor (across the Mont Blanc Store) of the mall, and by showcasing its top footwear styles holographically. For the most part, the brand has only been available for purchasing online, but after popular demand, Gauteng can now see and fit the shoes hassle free.

More than forty styles will be available for purchase and fitting.

The brand was established in 2003 by talented fashion designers, Italian born Baldovino Mattiazzo and German born Antje Elle. Duca, Italian for Duke, is a traditional Venetian name used in Baldovino’s family for many generations and this strong sense of Italian heritage forms the foundation of every collection.
