AVALANCHE
Skiing in summer in Joburg? You’d better believe it! In fact, you can enjoy skiing, snowboarding, tubing and bumboarding on the 65-metre ski slope at Avalanche in Cedar Square, Fourways. Take the draglift to the top of the slope, and then make your way down. You can have a skiing or snowboarding lesson with an expert instructor, if you wish. Or a party – catering is available. The young ones can enjoy the activity centre and there’s a restaurant serving snacks all day. Photographers are stationed on the slope to take pictures of those adventurous enough to brave the slope. What are you waiting for?
