The Converse Kickdown

We’re a little Chuck-Chuffed with everything that Converse is laying on the 2017 Style table. Looking at this year’s releases this far, we’ve decided to give you a little taste of what we love from the “street-style essential” brand this year so far.

Before giving you a breakdown, we have to give a shout out to the Express Yourself in Your Chucks Campaign. An extension of the Forever Chuck campaign (which you can read about in our post here), Converse has kept to the edge of it’s youthful campaign by partnering with several creators, and giving them the platform to express what they do in their Chucks. For more about the campaign, head to the website.

The Converse Chuck II Gum

It’s a new take on an old favourite. Converse have changed the game a little bit my using gum rubber for the soles instead of regular rubber. Not only giving them durability, but also giving the shoe a softer edge. It’s a simple change that makes the shoe almost entirely different.

Chuck Taylor All Star x Nike Flyknit

Everyone loves a collaboration, and this is definitely a collaboration of note. This is first time Converse has incorporated Nike Flyknit technology into any of the brand’s footwear. It is definitely one of the most talked about releases from Converse this year, and has an incomparable innovation behind it. It is another level of stylish and is suitable to any weather.

Converse Essentials Apparel

Fleece makes Winter better, we know this, you know this, and Converse definitely knows it. They’ve made use of the highest quality fleece in their Autumn / Winter Essentials collection. Beautifully constructed staple winter pieces are a necessity for the season, and that’s why the Essentials collection is one to consider in your winter wardrobe, both for men and women. With pieces you can dress up or down in the chilly season, the versatility behind the collection is key to i’s “Essentials” status.

Like we said, Converse is a Street-Style essential, and has continue to up their game in innovation and comfort this Autumn / Winter Season. For more on the above mentioned, and other Converse must-haves, head over to their website
